SBG has supported PEO Space Systems with engineering and programmatic services since 2005. In April of 2006, SBG won a prime contract to expand support to PEO Space Systems through 2011 (the contract has since been re-awarded to SBG). SBG supported efforts including Naval Open Architecture (OA), Communications Functional Integration Office (CommFIO) liaison, Software Reconfigurable Payloads (SRP), Operationally Responsive Space (ORS), Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and other Science and Technology (S&T) programs. SBG works closely with PMW 146 and the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) program. SBG’s support was recognized as “very good” in a June 2008 contract performance rating for work to date.
